Mrs. Madhavi Sarkar, a 50 year old lady from the Poradanga group of South Dinajpur had agriculture as their only source of income but didn’t have their land. She took a Loan of Rs. 50000 from Dhosa Fincare pvt ltd on 26th October 2023 and used that loan for agriculture process. She entered into an agreement on land. In 2023, she borrowed Rs. 50,000for two years, repaying it in fifteen-day intervals. Kamala Barman, A 55 year old woman and member of Dhosa Microfinance group supports a family of five. Initially running a small sweet shop with sales dependent on occasion, she decided to take a group loan of Rs. 55,000 nine months ago. Since then, she had observed positive changes; the sweet shop is now running successfully, and her income has notably increased. This group loan has proven to be a valuable support for individuals in circumstances, making Kamala an inspirational figure for others in similar situations.

Mrs. Tori Barui, Purulia
In order to help these marginalized individuals mainly women, Dhosa Fincare Pvt Ltd proposed a Joint Liability Group (JLG) that would lend money to them without requiring any security. Each JLG member was accountable to the others.
This case study that follows concerns a resident of Bero In the West Bengal district of Purulia. Farming and cow rearing are the two main professions.Tori Barui is a 35 year old house wife from Bero village, She has a 6 years old son. Her husband was a wage laborer ,monthly income was Rs. 5000 but the family faced lots of financial stress.So she wished to earn something of her own and provide a good education to their child, but she was confused about what business to do. After a discussion with her husband they got the idea of opening a grocery shop. She local financiers, but exorbitant rates and security requirements hindered her from availing finance. Meantime, a friend introduced her to Dhosa Fincare and she became a member of us. After that Tori talked to the loan officer, she knew that Dhosa fincare Pvt Ltd came with their JLG (Joint Liability Group) proposal, to support these marginal people by offering them loans without taking any security from them. The JLG members were responsible for one another. Only women make up the groups. A group should include five people minimum and thirty people maximum. The annual household income of each member must be less than Rs. 3 lakh. She decided to take a loan from Dhosa FincarePvt Ltd. After getting the loan to set up the grocery shop. She has filled the racks of her store with fast – moving items. Today , her business is so successful that she pays for her own expanses, and her children education and contributes to her family expanses. Her average monthly income is Rs. 8000 to 9000. Tori now dreams of opening a wholesale shop nearby to sell range of products apart from regular groceries. Tori says, I never imagined getting a loan so quick with easy installment facilities, that too without any collateral security and she says to take loans in the second cycle after completing the first cycle.
